Tootsie is 10 weeks old in these two pictures. She came here at 8 weeks old and quickly learned her way through the fences to visit all the other dogs. She kind of hangs out where she feels like. She's bright, intelligent, strong willed, and gets what she wants, when she wants it.
The next picture of Tootsie was taken at 12 weeks old.
In the next two pictures, Tootsie was staying with a friend. Solo was also with her. She's gotten to see a lot of new things, play with kids, and learn more about life. She's a very bold little girl. These pictures were taken at about 15 weeks old. This must've been a rest period.
Here she's doing tongue excercises
Tootsie is five months old in the next two pictures. She's still staying with a friend because that friend now co-owns her with me. Seems she has a strong herding instinct and my friend is into herding with her dogs.
Here's a couple of pictures of Tootsie at about six months old. This is an ackward age of transitions.
And here she is doing what she does best. It's what collies were bred for in the first place.
This next shot is was taken when she was 9 months old. At this point she was quite good at herding sheep and earned her first herding title from the American Herding Breeds Assoc. The title is Herding Ranch Dog I-sheep.
Here's a head shot I took of her when she was visiting.
Yes, Tootsie does conformation too. She's won two 5 point majors. Here's a picture of her winning the second one handled by her co-owner.
This is a closer shot of her.
After finishing her championship and earning some herding titles, it was off to agility she went. She double Q'd her first time out in novice B and is currently 1/3 NA and 1/3 NAJ. Here's a few pictures of her agility runs.
