When Linda came to Nashville from her native Michigan, she soon found her niche in Nashville's art and music communities. She brings a background in piano, violin and voice to her current passion, the mountain dulcimer. Before coming to Nashville, Linda had been drawn to the dulcimer but it was not until she connected with Nashville players that her talent flourished. Linda is currently part of the Nashville Dulcimer Quartet.

From 1995 to 2000 Linda played with a neighborhood Nashville band, the Sunset Players, building a repertoire of Irish, Scottish and old-time American tunes. Since September of 1995, she has been part of "Tuesday Lunch." Linda and quartet member Sandy Conatser go each Tuesday to Vanderbilt Medical Center to share dulcimer music with patients who are waiting for heart transplants.

Linda is a visual artist as well, creating mosaics on found objects such as fireplace mantle surrounds, old benches and chairs, wooden jewelry and toolboxes.
