On May 25, 2005, the Board of Directors of the Knoxville Opera hired acclaimed conductor Brian Salesky as General Director and Conductor.  Brian brings a myriad of experiences to KO that cover the entire gamut of media production, from his highly-acclaimed tenure as director of New York City Opera to Broadway to his work in movies and television.  We're very glad to have such a knowledgeable and multi-faceted manager, director, producer, conductor, and musician at the helm of the KO.
